Downloading SMART Notebook 11 Software on your home computer. (Note: Once you have Notebook software on your home computer, you can create a Notebook lesson at home, save it to a Flash drive, and then bring it to school to use in class.)
*If you have any old versions of Notebook Software already installed, you must Remove it before installing Notebook 11.
Here's the link to SMARTTech's downloads
On the download page, select the "SMART Notebook Software" link for your particular operating system.
On the next page, you can ignore everything under the headings “Current customers” and “New customers”
Scroll down to the downloads section.
NOTE: If you plan on using the SMART Response Clickers in the future, it is recommended that you download the SMART Response Software instead of SMART Notebbook. This will give you access to both SMART Response and SMART Notebook.
If you are going to connect the computer to a SMART Board, then you want:
SMART Notebook 11 software
Complete installation with SMART Notebook service pack 2 and SMART Board drivers service pack 5
After you've downloaded and installed the software, you'll be prompted to enter a product key.
Enter the product key: See Instructor.
This product key will make the "Trial Version" Permanent.
